History CAW Local 555

2001
Recognizing the difficulty MUSA had in securing a negotiated
contract, a motion was put
forth at the 2001 Annual General Meeting to
create a committee to investigate the advantages
and disadvantages of MUSA
joining a larger union. The motion was carried and the Pros and
Cons
Committee was struck. This committee met throughout 2002 and produced a
questionnaire
consisting of approximately 70 questions.
