Please join us for a casual evening of light conversation and to watch "The Efficiecy Expert"
(Spotswood, Australia, 1992). An expert on productivity (Anthony Hopkins) shows workers
in 1966 Australia how to run their slipper factory like clockwork, despite laying off more
than half the workforce. (97 minutes, Comedy, PG.)
We will be accepting donations again for Mary's Place (Hamilton area Women's Shelter).
Donations can be brought to the film night or left at the Local 555 campus office (GH B110).
Personal hygiene products (shampoo, soap, etc.) are always in short supply.
Working together we can help others less fortunate in our community.
The night will include free parking, free childcare (18 months to 12 years of age) and free
refreshments, Please let us know if you're able to join us, how many of you there will be,
and if childcare is required so we can plan appropriately. RSVP to the Women's Committee
by email only please at womens@cawlocal555.ca.

The Women's Department of the National Union has a rich history in our struggle for women's greater equality in the workplace, in the community and within the union itself. The department develops women's leadership through our Women Activists Program, Women in Leadership, annual Women's Conference and CAW Women's Committees and Networks which organize around common issues and fight for change. Mobilizing CAW women on equality issues and other union priorities strengthens the connection of women to the union, which means building a strong movement as we fight for all our members rights.
