Committee Mandate

Our mandate as the Community Services Committee of Local 555 is
to the best of our ability assist those members of our community in need.

Our Committee's purpose is to help promote the spirit of generosity and
caring in our communities.

This will be accomplished by lending our assistance to existing community
service agencies, or by taking on a cause ourselves. Service to the
community is first and foremost at the head of our agenda.

This committee is founded on the premise that all members have
an equal voice and that any and all community causes brought forth through
committee members will be considered for our participation.

This policy statement is meant to be an ever-evolving commitment to our
community and our local.
